Position Summary

The Integrated Social Media Specialist is a fast-paced position that plays a crucial role in working alongside the Social Media Team and other members of Brandience Team to deliver data-driven insights for our clients and internal teams.

The Integrated Social Media Specialist needs to be a self-motivated person who proves to be an indispensable team member and works toward the goal of advancement through consistently performing the roles and responsibilities of this position.

Essential Job Functions

Assist alongside the Social Media Team and other team members with the day-to-day needs of clients, including:

  • Ability to turn data-driven analytics into actionable insights for social media strategy
  • Provide social advertising recaps/reports per campaign (along with monthly, quarterly & annual recaps) – for BOTH organic & paid
  • Assist with stewarding the Paid Social Media planning, buying and reporting process for Brandience clients
  • Assist the broader team with monitoring & responding, management, and execution within social communities of assigned clients (Community Management)
  • Ability to collaborate and work directly with other departments within the agency to ensure a trusted, positive working relationship
  • Collaborate with external clients on an as-needed basis to make certain their needs are being met
  • Possess a strong work ethic and can multi-task across projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Align with an understanding that the social media area never turns off so responding and engaging can require occasional after-hour check-ins

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full-time position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or Advertising
  • Minimum 2-3 years of data analytics and reporting within the social media space
  • Experience specific to the Paid Social Media Advertising space is a must
  • Confident and proficient with data analytics and reporting of insights
  • Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented and good at multitasking
  • Experience with major social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Writing and photography skills are a plus
  • Desire to learn and advance
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of social publishing/listening tools (Sprout Social, Hootsutie, Talkwalker, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, YouTube, and video editing a plus

Physical Requirements

Low physical effort required to sit, stand at files, bend, stoop, lift, and walk. Maximum unassisted lift = 35 lbs. Average lift less than 10 lbs. Requires ability to use a keyboard, monitor and calculator. Also requires the ability to communicate verbally, both in person and on the telephone. May require traveling by car to clients.

Work Environment

Typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues.
